helping hand and temporary home for our animal friends in need. CVHS serves Washington and Orange Counties. The mission of CVHS is to ensure

Kitten Doused in Gas--Seeking InformationCVHS is seeking information about a stray kitten who was doused in gasoline. Please see this Times Argus article for more information. (Picture of 'Blaze' below) Weekend Update: Blaze makes headlines across the nation! He is recovering well and will soon be seeking a new home. We currently have no suspects in his case.

Holiday Closing
CVHS will be closed to the public on Saturday, July 4th. We will be open for regular hours on Friday the 3rd.

Patti Casey Sings "Old Man" for CVHS!
During the month of June, you can raise money for CVHS by downloading a copy of singer/songwriter Patti Casey’s touching song, “Old Man,” about an elderly dog.
