My husband and I adopted Annie (the cat) from you all about 2.5 months ago. Just wanted to send you a quick update. We are just SO in love with our little Annie! She is hilarious, sweet and HUNGRY! A little scavenger I tell ya! Is it common for stray cats to eat like crazy? She has filled out a bit and she looks very healthy and happy! A couple weeks ago we came in from having dinner out on our deck and she was pulling a chicken breast the size of her off the counter and onto the floor!  It was hilarious…… then we realized that we can no longer leave food out, as we did with Gus.

I have attached a couple of pictures. One is showing how she and Gus are beginning to coexist as they share window time and the other is her favorite spot on the couch.  They are not exactly friends, but they do chase each other around the house and there is no hissing or growling, which I think means they are having fun?! We catch them at times nose to nose and checking each other out with no repercussions. It is amazing to see how much Gus has calmed down having Annie around.

Annie is not as much of a lap cat as she was when we first got her. She likes to choose her place to sit and will often come to our laps when we least expect it, it’s very sweet. I like to think that she is a confident lady and rules to roost almost, if not more, than Gus ;) She is NOT afraid of him and I admire her for that! :)

Anyway, I have been meaning to give you an update and finally found a quick moment!

Thank you for your help in our adopting Annie. We cannot imagine our lives without her!

Best,

Devon
