This Special Kitty Needs You, You Could Be The Family Eleanor Has Been Hoping For!

Little Eleanor was lucky and survived Hurricane Irene. Her family lost their home, however, and had to give her up.

This sweet three year-old ended up at CVHS, where a visit to the vet uncovered something. Her little heart has some complicated abnormalities, which will likely cause problems for her as she gets older. But now she can get care at the first sign of trouble.  An Adoptions Counselor would be happy to discuss her health with you.

To watch her, you’d think this adorable grey girl with captivating green eyes has a heart as strong as any other!  She is active, playful, and chatty.  She loves jamming her head into you for petting. And it’s hilarious to watch as she rubs her lips against everything.  She is very affectionate, loves to be held, petted, and lays on your lap. She also loves playing with string toys.  She likes other cats, but hasn’t been around dogs yet.

Sadly, there is no guarantee as to how long Eleanor’s good health will last. She’ll need an annual ultrasound to monitor her heart. Eventually, she’ll need medication for her condition.

But none of that matters to Eleanor. The only thing she dreams of is love. A true, lasting love to share with someone special….for however many years she has. Someone like you!
