Meet Lily! This shy beauty is looking for a guardian who will help her blossom into a loving and loyal companion. Lily’s previous family had her since she was a baby and they were devastated to part with her when they lost their housing. They report that Lily is extremely loving and loyal with her trusted people. She is timid at first with strangers and needs time to take things slow with introductions. Once comfortable, Lily is affectionate, playful, and attentive. She is even trustworthy offleash in safe areas. Lily shared her home previously with a dog and a cat. She was great with her canine sibling, but did enjoy chasing the cat if it ran. She will do best with a dog-savvy cat who knows how to stand its ground. She was also wonderful with the children in her previous home, but due to her timid nature she will do best with older children who can understand how to be gentle and calm with her. Lily’s ideal guardian will be patient, loving and understanding when she needs to take things at her own pace.
